Faith walk
A few weeks ago, my dad and I went on a trust walk in the woods behind the house. This was not just any afternoon walk. It was a walk that was a lot of fun. We went through a few bushes and SMACK! A branch hit me in the eye. That is when dad blindfolded me. He told me what to do while guiding me with his hand. We did this for 15 minutes or so, and I ended up in a tree. He took the blindfold off and told me we will do the same thing without his hand. I did so and did it just fine until he led me into a log. I still followed his voice until he told me to just run straight. At first I was a little hesitant, "You want me to WHAT??! Trust you???!! I've only Known you for 12 years. Listen,When I'm 40, we'll see how things are doing." I realized that he was one of the closest people to me. I did as he told. It taught me a great lesson. I was going through puberty and dad has already been through this. I should trust him. That is why this is called a faith walk.

The Faith Walk was a great experience for me as well, Teagan! It is my hope that it will long remind you that I am glad to journey with you through the forest of life: to be your guide, your support, and a voice of encouragement along that ride!
